Gemstone Manicure!

Hi everyone,

Here is my latest manicure, which was inspired by the idea of gemstones!

For this manicure I used two coats of OPI Nail Envy, two coats of China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise and two coat of Nfu Oh 54. It was then stamped in Konad special polish in black using plate BM-208 from the second Bundle Monster set of plates off Amazon.

I really love this mani because it's so vibrant looking and the flakes shift from turquoise to lime green to blurple and really make it wonderful to look at! It was also really easy and has ended up being one of my most popular manicures I think I have ever done!

I also use the iPhone app Instagram and was lucky enough to be featured on there by a group, nailartclub. This resulted in a crazy amount of people checking out my nail art and liking my pictures, I also gained about 45 new followers! What a great way to wake up! If you use it too, feel free to follow me, @legiolinde:)

I also used this Models Own Nail Art Pen to touch up any lines I might have missed in stamping. The tiny pen nib on this is great for detailed work and the polish consistency is smooth and even.

I hope you liked this manicure! If you try something similar please link me to your pictures or blog posts. I would love to see it!!

Until next time!

Tattoo inspired nails

Tonight I've done some tattoo inspired nails!

My inspiration was the Konad Q1 plate which has a really cute little Swallow on it!

I chose colours which you often see the Swallow tattoos done in.

The majority of the nails are done in red, which is by Australian brand Polished. The colour is Waitress. It's a great deep red colour that still has a hint of berry brightness. This was 2 coats for perfect full coverage.

My ring fingers are 2 coats of China Glaze in Lemon Fizz.
The swallows are stamped in Konad special black polish. And it's finished off with a new limited edition Australis polish in Flip Flops, a bright blue creme with light blue/green flakes.

This was finished off with one coat of Out The Door and one coat of Seche Vite.

What do you think? Do you like it? Have you got the Q1 plate?

Nail Update! And some new polishes

Hey everyone,

A quick update and pics of my nails. They have been growing since using the OPI Nail Envy..

However they are still quite weak so I have been trimming them back as they grow. Once they are stronger I will be growing them longer again.

Also got three new polishes in the mail yesterday, by Butter London.

The Black Knight

Tart With A Heart

Henley Regatta

I love them all heaps and they are so much more sparkly than I thought they would be!

I found the application of The Black Knight a little goopy, but that might have been to do with the air conditioning in my bedroom.
